One of the many fundraisers that the Band Boosters does is the Fall Festival. This Festival will take place on October 23 from 5:00-9:00 PM, at the AG Barn in Earth. Booth rentals are $30. This is a way for the community to come together and raise money for the Band. Amanda Escalante and Rosalia Saenz are the two adults in charge. 

Escalante and Saenz both joined the Band Boosters at the same time. 

“She and I work great as a team.” Saenz said. 

This is the 3rd time that the Band Boosters are hosting this fundraiser.

“We decided to do this to bring the community together, while fundraising for the band,” Saenz said. “We have a goal of making it better each time.” 

The Junior class plans to have a booth. 

“We are selling fall themed desserts and drinks including popcorn balls, cheesecakes, cupcakes, hot chocolate, and candy corn punch,” class president, Annabelle Anchondo said. “We are also doing a cup pong tournament, and winners will receive a dessert of their choosing.” 

Hannah Alvarez and the 8th grade class will be doing a booth, also. 

“We are doing a balloon dart booth,” Alvarez. “You basically throw a dart and if you hit a balloon, you get a prize.” 

Alvarez is excited for the Fall Festival. 

“I think the Fall Festival is a great idea,” Alvarez said. “It helps the Band Boosters raise money, and gives the community something to look forward to.” 

The Class of 2023 will donate half of their money, for a good cause. 

“Our class does plan on donating half of our profits to Patsy,” Anchondo said. “We just want to help her out as much as we can.”
