“Even though there were technical difficulties, our boys played really well, and it was a great game,” junior Emma Stevenson said.

The game started out with Lorenza taking the lead, but it didn’t take long for the Wolverines jumped back into the game and took it back.  After that the Wolverines held their lead and kept the hornets to a low score leading to a 45 win against Lorenzo.

“One good thing I saw was how the team was able to overcome their slow start, stop Lorenzo’s momentum, and dominate from there,” Coach Keenan Senter said.

Freshman player Kaleb Castillo also spoke over the game.

“We had a rough start, but we came back and started doing better,” Castillo said.

Through the teams good there was some things that were seen that could be improved.

“The thing we need to improve on is making sure we don’t start out slow,” Senter said.

A coach always has advice for their team and Senter shared his.

“We can’t underestimate the other team, let them build momentum and then have to fight ourselves back into the game,” Coach Senter said. “We need to start and finish strong.”
