The 2022 SE Homecoming Pep Rally was held in the high school gym on Friday, September 9, at 2:55 PM. The pep rally was in true Green & Gold fashion, adding in a circus twist. Decked out in green and gold circus decor, homecoming court candidates walked the gym after all in attendance had a traditional pep rally for the Varsity team who would later play Happy that night. These pictures were taken by the Journalism Staff of the pep rally.
The Wolverines took on the Happy Cowboys at 7:30 that same evening. Below are pictures taken of the team doing their best to rope the Cowboys and the female homecoming court candidates cheering on the Wolverines as they watched from their seats on the track. =
During halftime, both the SE and Happy bands performed on the field together before the female homecoming court candidates and their escort prepared to walk the field. As their names were called, these court candidates and their escorts walked the field where they finally took their position on the field. Pictures of both halftime events can be found below.
The day was filled with much fun and excitement and brought about a time where the entire Wolverine Nation exhibited their school spirit and pride for this place all are happy to call home!
